Last Day of Work!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!

On the last day of work I got to come in at 2:30. Usually on sundays we are open from 1-9, but we were open from 1-10 which isn't too bad. I came in at 2:30 to be a break person, but I just took the spot of another at tea party. About 10 minutes after 3 I got a 20 minute break. When I came back, they had to shutdown the Galleon because they needed people up at A-Turnaround, which is where you come in at. Ashley came and took my spot at tea party and I went to do breaks on the Wave Carousel (Swings), Wings, Bugs, and Frogs. It wasn't too bad of a day for a sunday, but we did go over projection, the original projection was 6,600, but we got over 15,000 people on park. We closed all the rides down at 10, brought everything in from the rides, and organized everything for next year. During the day the coaster had to go down because it got too cold (42*). Hope you all enjoyed reading this. Have a Happy New Year.

My First Date

I had my first date with my first boyfriend on December 21st and it was so great. My boyfriend's name is Andrew, he is 19 years old, just 4 months and 4 days older than me, and he is just so sweet. If you want to see what he looks like go to myspace and look for the album with me and him together. My friend Ashley also joined us.
On my first date we went and ate at the Olive Garden, then we went to the Wax Museum, then we went to The Landing, next we went to the Festival of Lights Display, its a drive through light display. After that we went to Steak 'N' Shake and we all got different shakes, and then after that we went to Wal*Mart, and after that he and Ashley took me home. It was an amazing day.
The next time I see him is going to be on New Years Eve because we are going to celebrate the New Years. It's going to be with Me, Andrew, Ashley, Tiffany, and Ashley's parents in a hotel room. Well, I think that about sums up all I have to say on a first date. Hope you all enjoyed reading this. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I'll try to answer them as soon as I can.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Work Today!

You all know how Silver Dollar City (SDC) is open from 11:30 to 11:oo on saturdays. Well today I had to be there at 10:30 to fill the water jugs and put them at each ride, which is an easy job. By 11:30 we didn't open the rides because it was still too cold outside, but about 11:45 we opened the rides, and we only stayed open until 1:10 because it got too cold again. Everyone waited in the breakroom until we got further instructions. At about 2:45 we finally got word to shut down all the rides for the day, and I got out of there at 3:00, plus it started snowing, which is really cool. So this was my day today, it was fun, cold, and I got off early by about 8 hours, and they also made an announcement that they would shut the park down at 8:00. Hope you enjoyed reading this part of my day. Talk to everyone later.

Christmas Tree

Today I stayed inside all day. We finally put up our christmas tree. It has built in light. We haven't decorated it yet because we got to get all the christmas decorations from downstairs and bring them upstairs. It is about a 7 foot tree, it is very pretty. I can't wait to start decorating it. Well, this is about all I can say, so I will talk to you all later, or on the message board.

Violin

Back in California I started taking violin lessons in middle school in sixth grade. I played all through middle school, then I went to high school and played until tenth grade only because my music teacher broke his back and couldn't resume the lessons. In October of 2004 my mom, dad, brother, and I moved to Missouri, and when I went to a new high school I found out they didn't have any stringed instrument classes, but brass instruments, so that disappointed me. After I graduated high school in May of 2006 I got a job working at SDC (Silver Dollar City). This is my second year working there, I work in the Grand Exposition as a ride operator. This year after seeing the Haygoods I asked my mom if I could get back into playing the violin again, and she said yes, plus I had the money. I went to Engler's Block, it's in Branson after Dixie Stampede, just next to Pizza Hut, across from Dunkin' Donuts. I bought a violin and it took a couple weeks before it came in, and when it came in I bought it with my money, and I couldn't wait to start playing again. When I got home I took it out and I still remember how to play even though it has been a few years since I had. I am so excited about getting to play the violin again, I practice everyday, even after working long hours at work. Well, this just a little more about my life. If anyone has questions please ask and I will try to get back to you.

Work!

My job is a great job because I get to be around kids, teenagers, and adults all day. Silver Dollar City (SDC) will be closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the rest of the year. The last day we are open is December 30. The place I work at is the Grand Exposition where there are 10 rides. The names of the rides are, starting in kiddie land: Wings of Wonder, Ladybugs, Happy Frogs, Wave Carousel (swings), Electro Spin, Royal Tea Party, Grand Exposition Coaster, Mighty Galleon, Racing Regatta, and Elephant March. If you haven't been here you should check it out, they are all fun rides, and if you have then come back again and look for me. I will be wearing a big white cape if it is cold outside, a crooked santa hat, and I wear glasses. It should be easy to find me if you decide to come visit.
Besides where I work there are lots of other rides in the park and plenty of shows to see, most are inside where it is warm. Well, I think that is about all I can say, if anyone has a question about this don't be afraid to ask. I'll try to answer as soon as I can, and hope everyone has a great day.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
